So this is how it all happened. Mom was cleaning my room and found my diary where I had written stories about Mercer sneaking out at night. She, with the help of some wonderful people, like Mr. Rubenstein, Mr. Solon, and Nanette DiFalco at FAO Schwarz, helped make this dream happen!

The force behind this is my mom. She rocks. She has taught me so much. She is who I get my "glass half full" attitude from because no matter what problem I come to her with, she has a positive way to solve it. She always says to me things like, "okay here's the deal, so you can't ice skate, I can't either. Let's still go to the birthday party and make a funny video to give as the birthday gift. You?re great at that. And anyway, it wouldn't be fair to Mercer if you skated, we have to make him feel comfortable too."

So cool.

The thing I love most about this is you and I are doing something to change other people's lives. Some of the money from the book and stuffed animals, we are sending to help other kids with SMA. (I am perfect the way I am but other kids are alot weaker than I) We also are contributing to "Canine Companions for Independance," where we got Mercer. They will be able to raise more "Mercer's" for soldiers and other people like me.

So that's our mission, and I am so excited to have you be a part of it!

BUT SHE STILL READ MY DIARY! UGH!!!!!!!
